Dr. Adrian L. Mayse, Ph.D., CPA: A Leader in Accounting Education and Advocacy
Dr. Adrian L. Mayse, CPA, is a distinguished academic and professional leader in the field of accounting. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Jackson State University and a Certificate in Data Analytics from Cornell University. Dr. Mayse currently serves as a tenured Professor of Accounting at Talladega College, where he previously held the position of Dean of the School of Business. His leadership at Talladega College included managing a diverse portfolio of faculty and students, overseeing significant budget allocations, and driving accreditation processes.
Dr. Mayse has an extensive teaching background, having taught various accounting courses at institutions such as Howard University, Middle Tennessee State University, and Jackson State University
Recognized for his service and contributions, Dr. Mayse has received several honors, including the Outstanding Young CPA Award from AICPA and the Provost’s Distinguished Service Award from Howard University. He is committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the accounting profession and higher education.
